Brad holds a master’s degree in family and youth services and is a licensed professional counselor. Prior to coming to Christian Heritage, he spent 16 years with Boys Town, serving in a number of capacities. He brings deep experience and a full commitment to Christian Heritage’s mission and offers Christian Heritage a wealth of talent and energy.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with family and friends. He and his wife, Kara, have five children and a grandson.
Brad's favorite book is Crazy Love by Francis Chan and his favorite movie is Remember the Titans. An interesting fact about him is that he shares a birthday with Billy Graham. He is motivated by the opportunity to help families and children.

Brian grew up on a farm in northwestern Illinois. After graduating from Aledo High School, he attended Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas, graduating with a BA in Behavioral Science.
Brian and his wife, Sharla, were married in 1985 and have two grown children. Brandon is a UNO graduate with a Computer Science degree and met his wife in Beijing. Brianna, a Nebraska Wesleyan graduate, lives and works in Lincoln. They also have a 15-year-old shih tzu named Spunky.
In his free time, Brian enjoys gardening, antiquing and spending time with his family. He also likes to eat out and enjoys pizza and barbecue. When he has time to read, mysteries and legal novels are favorites, especially those by John Grisham. He likes a good movie once in a while and his favorite movie is What About Bob? Brian also explores genealogy and collects Abraham Lincoln memorabilia.
A saying that has impacted Brian’s attitude and heart is: “Serving others is the antidote for despair.” His motivation for ministry/work is to make a positive difference in the lives of others, so that they may be able to see the love of Jesus Christ, in direct contrast to what the world offers them.
Laura was born in Hastings and moved as a toddler to Lincoln, where she has spent most of her life. She attended Concordia University in Seward, studying Psychology and Theology, with a minor in Youth Ministry.
She and her husband have been licensed foster parents for the last two years and she says that has kept them on their toes! In addition, they have two dogs, Chewbacca and Obi-wan Kenobi.
Laura loves Thai food and enjoys trying new restaurants when she travels. She also likes playing volleyball, going on long bike rides, sewing, and adding to her antique collection. She was obsessed with the movie ET as a child and learned how to do an ET impression.
One of Laura’s favorite quotes is by Tim Keller: "The observer of beauty always receives a passion to share that beauty with others.”
Raised in Lincoln, Tony has a wide variety of experiences, including serving as director of development for a private school and as chaplain for the KC Royals for two seasons. Tony and his wife, Angie, have two sons and two daughters, as well as a little morkie named Tia.
Tony loves barbecue, basketball, and jiu jitsu. His favorite book is The Peace Child by Don Richardson and his favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. His favorite saying is: "No one can do everything, but everyone can do something."
“There are far too many young people left twisting in the wind in seemingly hopeless situations,” he says. “They feel useless, as they have few or no mature adults in their lives who have made a conscious decision to invest in them. Being involved in a mission that seeks to deliver hope to children and families is a blessing. Knowing there are so many young people who need help today keeps me motivated.”
Julie was raised in Lincoln and received her BS in Biblical Studies and Management & Organizational Leadership from Grace University.
She loves chocolate and spending time with her husband, Doug, and their two grandchildren. An interesting fact about Julie is that she has 43 first cousins!
Julie's favorite quote is: “How long you have been a Christian only tells you how long you have been on the road. It doesn’t tell you how far you’ve come” (Vance Havner).
Aaron is a lifelong Nebraskan, having spent his first four years in Lincoln and then moving to David City and later Ralston, where he graduated from high school. He attended the University of Nebraska.
When he’s not spending time with his wife and daughter, Aaron enjoys photography, participating in half marathons, sprint triathlons, and riding in the annual Bike MS ride. His favorite book is Wild at Heart and his favorite movie is Courageous.
Aaron’s favorite saying is “I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) and he is motivated by sense of being able to make a difference.

Amy was raised in Johnson, Nebraska, which she describes as “a town of 326 people and counting.” She holds a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BS in Family Science, with minors in education and psychology. She loves dark chocolate and Italian food. Her favorite book is Heaven is for Real and her favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast. She likes to read and spend time with her husband, Matt.
Admin Assistant to CEO
Born in Iowa and raised in southern Illinois, Janet met her husband at a Christian college in Tennessee. They got to Nebraska by way of Pennsylvania, Kansas and Mississippi--and have stayed for over 20 years.
Janet and her husband have two daughters, two sons, and nine grandchildren, including two sets of twins. Her favorite book is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson and her favorite movie is O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Patti was raised in Niobrara and received her BA from Doane College.
Patti was adopted as an infant; her four siblings were also adopted and were the children of her dad’s brother. She has always loved children and numbers, so her job is perfect for her.
In her spare time, Patti listens to music, enjoys photography, and cheers for her three sons in anything they do.
Vicki keeps everyone on track from her command post at the front desk in our Walton office.
Vicki and her husband have an adult son, two adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and one son who attends Lincoln Christian High School. She loves Chinese, Italian and Mexican food and enjoys keeping in touch with friends. Her favorite books are the Little House series and her favorite movie is The Sound of Music.
Vicki is motivated by the knowledge that she is supporting staff members who work directly with youth, and she hopes that her support makes their jobs easier in some way.
